Eu-googly Eric Carle!
Imagine my delight today when I spotted a type treatment paying tribute to illustrator Eric Carle and The Very Hungry Caterpillar on the Google homepage! Here is an article. "The book, published in 1969, still sells one copy every 30 seconds in the world, 40 years after it was originally published." Incredible.
And the article gave this link for Google's archive of holiday logos. I really love these. This is like a collector's dream!!
Dennis Hwang is the graphic designer who designs the logos for Google, creating about 50 logos each year. What a fun job!
